Commercial Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of small to mid-sized commercial accounts across industries such as restaurants, construction, contracting, auto repair, small retail, and other small businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year + commission opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to commercial clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Handle quoting for new and renewal business across various carriers, including Travelers, State Auto, Nationwide, Westfield, Liberty Mutual, Merchants, and Penn National.
  • Manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized commercial accounts, with the majority of accounts ranging between $40,000 and $75,000.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to discuss goals, strategies, and client needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial insurance is required.
  • Familiarity with Ezlynx software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
