As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing comprehensive solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, managing ongoing relationships with businesses of varying sizes and industries.
  • Analyze client needs to recommend appropriate insurance coverage, endorsements, and risk management strategies.
  • Assist new and existing clients with policy renewals, endorsements, claims, and any inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Prepare, review, and monitor applications, proposals, and agreements to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Work directly with underwriters to negotiate favorable terms and conditions on behalf of clients.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and offer solutions to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the sales team and collaborate closely with internal team members to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Actively contribute to creating an inclusive environment that values the contributions of all team members.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably in the commercial lines insurance industry or a similar role.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, workers' compensation, and other business-related coverages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain lasting relationships with a diverse client base.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret policy details and provide tailored solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and regulations.
