Commercial Lines CSR

 

Job Summary

Established insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines CSR to support the commercial department. This role partners closely with Account Executives and Producers to provide high-quality client service, assist with account retention, and support daily service operations. The position offers a collaborative team environment with exposure to a variety of commercial accounts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executives with day-to-day servicing of commercial accounts
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding policies, coverage, and billing
  • Assist with policy quoting, binding, issuing, and marketing for new and renewal business
  • Identify account rounding opportunities and recommend additional coverage when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation within agency management software
  • Provide administrative and back-office support to the commercial team
  • Input and update account information within internal systems
  • Collaborate with Producers and service team members to ensure client needs are met
  • Participate in special projects and departmental assignments as needed

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with an independent brokerage or agency
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
  • Experience working in a team-based environment
  • Strong client-facing customer service skills
  • Experience with data entry and online quoting platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems independently
  • College degree preferred, but not required

 

Compensation Package

  • Base salary: $85,000 – $95,000 annually
  • Commission opportunities
