Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, working closely with benefits consultants, internal service teams, and other account managers to deliver exceptional client service. This position focuses on managing lines of coverage such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Spending Accounts, Group Life and AD&D insurance, disability, and voluntary benefits.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a designated block of accounts, ensuring client needs are met with the highest level of service.
  • Collaborate with benefits consultants, internal service teams, and other account managers to develop and implement tailored solutions for clients.
  • Manage and oversee lines of coverage, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Spending Accounts, Group Life and AD&D insurance, disability, and voluntary benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through open communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of account management, including documentation, reporting, and compliance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes to provide clients with up-to-date information and recommendations.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or a related field (experience with self-funding is a plus but not required).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering superior service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
