Employee Benefits Implementation Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Implementation Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless implementation and management of employee benefits plans for clients. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and efficiency throughout the benefits implementation process. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually (depending on experience)
  • Benefits:
    • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
    • Training reimbursement for obtaining L&H license
  • Work Environment: In-office position

Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee benefits plan implementation following client renewals or plan selection
  • Serve as the primary contact for new group implementations and client renewals
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and clients to complete post-sale activities, including paperwork, portal setup, and benefits enrollment processing
  • Manage terminations, answer eligibility questions, and perform basic bill audits
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Producers to ensure smooth workflows
  • Act as the main liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver clarity and resolve benefit-related challenges
  • Maintain a small book of business, focusing on group benefits such as medical, dental, and vision plans

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Required Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, healthcare, or HR
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits, HR support, or insurance
    • Familiarity with Salesforce and benefits administration platforms (e.g., Ease, Employee Navigator, or similar)
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Life and Health (L&H) license preferred or willingness to obtain (training and reimbursement provided)
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
    • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
