Group Benefits Relationship Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Benefits Relationship Manager to join a growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing group benefits accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the growth of the business.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Benefits: Competitive benefits package, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of group benefits accounts, focusing on groups with 5-50 employees
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Conduct quoting and comparisons for new and renewal business, especially during busy seasons
  • Ensure all aspects of group benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, are accurately managed and implemented
  • Assist clients with enrollment processes and provide ongoing support
  • Collaborate with the team to streamline workflows and improve client satisfaction
  • Attend occasional client lunches to strengthen relationships

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in group benefits account management (preferred 3-5 years)
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Life and Health Insurance license in Washington State
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Employer Navigator, Rippling, and Simon software
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the Washington insurance market and group benefits processes
  • Soft Skills: Go-getter attitude, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a client-focused mindset
  • Work Environment: Hybrid role with a preference for onsite presence; occasional remote work allowed
