New Business Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and sales-driven New Business Advisor to join a team. This role is focused on generating new business revenue through prospecting, lead follow-up, and relationship-building in a consultative sales environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sales, a passion for networking, and a strong drive to succeed. This position offers hybrid flexibility after a comprehensive training period.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: Competitive base with commission on new business premium (scales with production thresholds).

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business revenue through warm calling and networking.
  • Analyze multiple carrier options and recommend the best-fit coverage for clients.
  • Provide fast and consistent follow-up on warm leads.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize client value.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking and attending client-facing events (2 events per month).
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, fostering long-term relationships.

Primary Focus: Personal Lines clients, with a specialization in collector/exotic auto enthusiasts and high-net-worth households (target: $7K+ premium per account).

Qualifications/Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Active P&C license (general lines).
  • Proven P&C insurance sales experience with a strong drive for results.
  • Recent industry experience (post-COVID strongly preferred).
  • Comfortable with warm outbound calling and networking.
  • Stable tenure history.
  • Local to Dallas, TX, with a sustainable commute to the office.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • 2+ years of P&C sales experience.
  • Experience with EZLynx software.
  • Familiarity with high-value carriers such as Chubb or Pure.
  • Interest in the collector/exotic auto niche.
