Liability Claims Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Liability Claims Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a team of claims adjusters, overseeing the claims process, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling General Liability, Commercial Auto, Property Damage, Bodily Injury, and Litigation claims. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the claims team, including workflow distribution and performance management.
- Provide training, guidance, and evaluations to team members to ensure high-quality claims processing.
- Review and analyze policy conditions, exclusions, and endorsements to resolve coverage and liability issues.
- Investigate claims, gather evidence, and document findings.
- Negotiate, settle, and resolve claims with claimants and insureds.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and jurisdictional requirements.
- Manage and direct independent adjusters and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with underwriting management to prepare and execute business plans and budgets.
- Provide leadership and communication to promote the company’s mission, values, and culture.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience handling claims in the following areas:
- General Liability, Commercial Auto, Property Damage, Bodily Injury, and Litigation
- Complex coverage analysis and claims administration
- At least 5 years of experience managing a claims team.
- Adjuster license required.
- Strong understanding of contractual indemnity and additional insured issues.
- Professional designations such as CPCU or AIC are highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in claims-related software and technology.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
