Personal Lines Technical Assistant (PL Tech Assistant)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Technical Assistant (PL Tech Assistant) to join a team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to grow their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
  • Performance Bonus: $25 per application bound (20-40 applications per month on average)
  • 401(k): 3% company match, eligible after 1 year of employment
  • Health Insurance: Eligible after 60 days; the company covers 77% of the employee-only base plan
  • Vacation/PTO: 80 hours of Vacation/PTO after 90 days, plus all major holidays and your birthday off
  • Work Environment: Onsite position in St. Petersburg, FL

Responsibilities

  • Assist with quoting new business for standard personal lines accounts (small to mid-market size)
  • Provide exceptional customer service during the first 90 days of client onboarding
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives to ensure seamless client support
  • Utilize Hawksoft software to manage and process accounts efficiently
  • Support the Director of Operations and other team members in daily administrative and technical tasks

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active 4-40 license required; 20-44 license is a plus
  • Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in personal lines insurance
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hawksoft software or similar platforms
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, adaptability to a fast-paced setting, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Work Arrangement: This is an onsite position in St. Petersburg, FL. Remote work is not available for this role.
