Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking experienced and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Managers to join a team. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in account management, with the ability to manage a book of business efficiently and effectively after a comprehensive training period. Looking for professionals to handle mid-to-large commercial accounts as well as small commercial accounts. Additionally, we are seeking a Group Benefits Account Manager, either with experience managing a book of clients or as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) working behind the scenes.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $120,000 (targeting around $80,000, based on experience)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote after training (Asheville location offers up to 2 days remote)
  • Relocation Assistance: Considered for the right candidate

Responsibilities

  • Manage a tailored book of business, including generalist accounts and carriers such as Builders Mutual, Cincinnati, Auto Owners, and Selective
  • Handle accounts in various industries, including construction, contractors, and retail businesses
  • Provide end-to-end service, including renewals, quoting, and marketing
  • Quote new and renewal business as required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Commercial Lines account management
    • Preferred: 5+ years of experience managing accounts with premiums of $100,000 or more
  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is preferred
