Commercial Producer - ND Trucking
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Producer specializing in the trucking and transportation industry. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-sufficient, aggressive, and eager to grow their book of business. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team, with the opportunity to build and expand their business while receiving substantial support and resources. This position offers a competitive compensation structure and the flexibility to work remotely.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and tier level.
- Producer I: $65,000 - $110,000
- Producer II: $110,000 - $180,000
- Producer III: $200,000 - $250,000
- Commission Structure:
- Year 1-2: Salary with commission (40/25 split).
- Year 3: Commission-only structure with a minimum revenue target of $500,000.
- Year 3 Bonus: $250,000 bonus upon achieving revenue target, in addition to commissions.
- Sign-On Bonus:
- Producer II: $5,000 - $25,000 (optional).
- Producer III: $15,000 - $100,000 (optional).
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k).
- Remote Work: Available.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a book of business within the trucking and transportation industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets.
- Create and execute strategic business plans to drive sales and meet client needs.
- Collaborate with market leads and leadership to align with company goals and objectives.
- Utilize software tools such as AMS260 and Salesforce to manage accounts and track performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, carrier offerings, and market conditions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance sales, with a focus on trucking and transportation accounts.
- Producer I: Entry-level or junior licensed candidates welcome.
- Producer II: 3-7 years of experience with a book of business ranging from $100,000 to $500,000.
- Producer III: 7+ years of experience with a book of business exceeding $500,000.
- Strong sales acumen with a hunger to succeed and grow revenue.
- Familiarity with AMS260 and Salesforce software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-sufficiency.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and aggressive approach to sales, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Knowledge of trucking and transportation carriers is highly desirable.
