Job Summary

Seeking a motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role plays a critical part in managing and maintaining client relationships, servicing commercial insurance policies, and assisting with the growth of business partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their insurance needs are effectively met.
  • Assist clients with policy inquiries, endorsements, renewals, claims, and coverage recommendations.
  • Collaborate with carriers, underwriters, and external partners to negotiate and secure the best insurance solutions for customers.
  • Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and consistency with clients’ stated requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing ongoing risk management recommendations and educating them about coverage options.
  • Handle client requests in a timely and professional manner to ensure a high-quality service experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the agency management system.
  • Stay informed and up to date on insurance industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Account Executives, Producers, and other team members in sales, policy management, and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably in commercial lines insurance.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude and strong attention to detail.
