Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a large book of business, with a focus on commercial lines accounts, particularly in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and a supportive, employee-focused environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, year-end bonuses, professional development opportunities, etc.
- Work Schedule: Hybrid model (2 days from home one week, 3 days the following week) and half-days every other Friday
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a focus on construction-related clients (e.g., homebuilders, risk transfers, construction additional insureds)
- Handle daily tasks such as processing renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, client questions, claims submissions, and certificates of insurance
- Collaborate with producers on renewal marketing efforts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in AMS360 software
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial lines insurance
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software preferred
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with handling accounts in the construction sector, including risk transfers and additional insureds
