Job Summary

A dedicated and customer-focused Personal Insurance Account Manager is needed to join the team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for valued clients, managing personal insurance accounts while delivering exceptional service and advice. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.


Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and maintain relationships with a portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Evaluate clients’ personal insurance needs and provide tailored recommendations for products and services.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, clearly explaining policies, coverage options, and pricing to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Process new policies, policy renewals, amendments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist clients with claims filing and advocate on their behalf during the claims process.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, products, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide up-to-date advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns and deliver seamless insurance solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products, ensuring coverage meets clients' evolving needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and transactions in company CRM systems.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Customer Service Representative, or in a relevant insurance-related role.
  • Knowledge of personal insurance products such as auto, homeowners, renters, and umbrella policies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance terms in a clear, accessible way.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM/insurance software systems.
  • Current insurance license or ability to obtain required licensing within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and independently manage multiple client accounts.
