Job Summary

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts. You will work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure that all policies are up to date and meet the clients' requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing personalized solutions.
  • Evaluate and review clients' insurance policies to ensure they have adequate coverage and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, processing policy changes, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate coverage terms, premiums, and policy renewals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and new insurance products to better serve clients and provide expert advice.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and recommendations to clients, educating them on various coverage options and helping them make informed decisions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least 2 years of personal lines insurance experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of various personal insurance products and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using insurance management software and MS Office.
  • Holds an active Pennsylvania P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license..
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
