Personal Lines Producer/Agent

Job Summary

Seeking dynamic and motivated Personal Lines Producers/Agents to join a growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for building strong client relationships and a proven ability to drive new business. As a Personal Lines Producer/Agent, you will be responsible for maintaining and maximizing profitable relationships with personal lines clients while growing your book of business through new client acquisition. This is a hybrid role that combines in-office, fieldwork, and remote flexibility, allowing you to build meaningful connections with realtors, loan officers, and clients.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 (flexible based on experience)
  • Commission: 20% on new business
  • Additional Benefits:
    • 20% commission on referred new business commercial accounts

    • One-week onsite training provided in Charlotte

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and solicit new clients to grow your book of business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, loan officers, and clients.
  • Provide insurance solutions for personal lines, including home, auto, umbrella, and recreational vehicles.
  • Quote new business and assist clients with their insurance needs during home closings.
  • Collaborate with the service team and other departments to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Regularly visit realty and loan offices to establish and strengthen partnerships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and maintain a strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role; candidates with captive or independent agency experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with AMS 360 and AgencyZoom software is preferred.

    • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Willingness to travel to realty and loan offices within the assigned territory.
    • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, including in-office, field, and remote settings.
