Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in managing and servicing a book of business, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in commercial lines insurance, independent agency experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $52,000 to $72,800 annually (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Account and Renewal Management: Prepare renewals 30-60 days in advance and ensure at least 85% book retention.
- Opportunity Identification and Sales Coordination: Identify five or more new business opportunities per month.
- Service Quality and Operational Excellence: Complete midterm service requests within 24-48 business hours and maintain accurate record-keeping in Applied Epic.
- Book of Business Management: Manage a book of business with $850k in premium across 450 accounts, primarily mid-market accounts with premiums under $20k.
- Reporting and Data Integrity: Conduct monthly policy cancellation reporting and ensure data accuracy in Applied Epic.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial Lines Director and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance within an independent agency or brokerage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic software is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer-focused mindset, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
